Pre-Litigation Case Manager
Goldberg Law Group, PC | Hyannis, MA
Full-Time or Part-Time | In-Office | $30 – $32/hour
About the Role:
At Goldberg Law Group, we pride ourselves on providing attentive, compassionate service to clients navigating the aftermath of personal injury. As a Pre-Litigation Case Manager, you’ll be the steady guide for each client, managing their case from intake through resolution and ensuring they feel informed, supported, and valued every step of the way.
This is a hands-on role for a detail-oriented, proactive professional who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and wants to make a real impact in people’s lives.
What You’ll Do:
Client Care & Communication
- Serve as the client’s primary point of contact throughout the pre-litigation process
- Provide regular updates and set expectations with clarity and empathy
- Respond to client inquiries in a timely, professional manner
Case Development & Medical Coordination
- Track client medical treatment and ensure appointments are maintained
- Identify gaps in care and help clients access needed services
- Coordinate with medical providers to obtain records, bills, and supporting documentation
Demand Preparation & Case Progression
- Draft and compile thorough demand packages, including medical summaries, wage loss details, and liability documentation
- Maintain accurate, well-organized case files using legal software (Filevine or similar)
- Ensure deadlines are tracked, tasks completed, and cases progress without delay
Insurance & Documentation Support
- Investigate and document all applicable insurance coverage (liability, MedPay, PIP, UM/UIM)
- Confirm policy limits and benefits and maintain updated documentation
Collaboration & Administrative Duties
- Work closely with attorneys, legal assistants, and medical providers
- Keep case notes, deadlines, and communications current within the case management system
- Assist with other legal and administrative support tasks as needed
What You Bring:
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate’s degree, paralegal certification, or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–2+ years of experience in a personal injury law firm or legal support role preferred
Skills & Attributes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High attention to detail, time management, and follow-through
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat; Filevine experience a plus
- Empathetic, professional demeanor with a strong client service orientation
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
Compensation & Benefits:

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Receptionist / Legal Assistant to join our close-knit team and be the welcoming face and voice of our office.
Position Overview:
This dual-role position is responsible for managing front desk operations and supporting legal and administrative functions. The ideal candidate is organized, punctual, professional, and enjoys contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team. A clear background and strong communication skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Open and close the office each day in accordance with established protocols
- Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient day-to-day operations
- Handle filing, scanning, photocopying, printing, and document assembly
- Monitor and restock office supplies as needed
- Answer and route incoming calls; take detailed messages with accuracy
- Greet clients and guests warmly; prepare conference rooms for attorney meetings
- Request medical records and billing documentation as needed
- Assist with onboarding new clients and setting up case files
- Draft basic correspondence and legal letters
- Process incoming and outgoing mail
- Perform other office and legal support tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
- Minimum typing speed of 50 WPM
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and phone lines simultaneously
- Professional demeanor, sound judgment, and a client-first attitude
